Registered Technician Training Now Offered
Beginning in January of this year, any employee wishing to obtain their license as a Registered Technician (RT) may do so without passing a certification exam as along as they attend one of many training sessions being offered by Purdue Pesticide Programs at the Daniels Turf Center on Purdue's West Lafayette Campus or the one such event being offered at the IPLLA Winter Regional Training Workshop on February 15th in Danville.
This new program is an excellent way for your new employee to become licensed as a Registered Technician without having to pass a certification test. The industry needs good people and we are very much aware that some are just not good test takers, but yet may be an excellent applicator and addition to your staff.
For registration information contact Cindy Myers at AC (765) 494-4566 or via email at cjmyers@purdue.edu. Registration is available only through the Office of Indiana State Chemist and NOT via the IPLLA website.
