Athletic Field & Grounds Managers of Indiana

The mission of the AFGMI is to provide education and training opportunities to those involved in athletic field and grounds management in local schools districts, colleges and universities, athletic clubs, parks and other institutional grounds.

The association's goal is to offer annual basic training in turfgrass and ornamental care to those directly charged with their care. The AFGMI also acts as a resource for information regarding the latest innovations and products available to these individuals and a place to seek out assistance in finding solutions for day-to-day problems.

The AFGMI, through its association with the Indiana Professional Lawn & Landscape Association, also provides the grounds manager with involvement in state regulatory and legislative affairs.
