About IPLLA  
 

Founded in 1987 as the Indiana State Lawn Care Association (ISLCA), this trade group has long served Indiana's Green Industry in a number of capacities. The association holds two major educational events each year in Carmel, IN. The first is our annual Summer Field Day, held in late August at Northern Beach Park. The second in our Annual Winter Workshop held at Oak Hill Mansion in December.

In addition to these statewide events, IPLLA also hold five regional meetings each winter in Avon, Indianapolis, Seymour, Lafayette, and Fort Wayne. These workshops are designed to offer "Advanced Training" in a wide variety specialty topics for more experienced managers and employees.

Most importantly, however, is IPLLA's ongoing involvement in legislative and regulatory affairs. Our association has joined three others in forming the Indiana Green Industry Alliance to represent our interests before the Indiana General Assembly and those regulatroy agencies who impact our various industries. Joinging us in the Alliance are the Indiana Golf Course Superintendents, the Indiana Nursery and Landscape Association, and the Indianapolis Landscape Association.

IPLLA will utilize all resources to provide effective membership services, proactive leadership, enhanced economic opportunity, advocate member rights, promote ethical and professional standards to improve the quality of life in our commnities.

VISION:
IPLLA will be recognized by the Green Industry as the progressive association that will constantly monitor, improve, strengthen, defend and provide what is essential for the professional growth of its members.
